The Gjirokastra Court has confiscated assets worth around 3 million euros belonging to citizen Dasho Aliko because their source was illegal.
A large number of properties and business activities, such as land, housing, fuel and warehouses in several areas of the district, have been seized.
It is reported that Dasho Aliko is a member of the leadership of the Democratic Party in the Gjirokastra area.
"They were not justified by legal sources, 3 million euros of assets of citizen DA are confiscated at the request of the Gjirokastër Prosecutor's Office; fuel, businesses, land, apartments and warehouses"
At the request of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, Gjirokastër, three million euros of assets were confiscated from citizen DA, who, from the investigations, resulted in no legal sources for the creation of assets.
The request for confiscation came within the framework of asset investigation no. 2 of 2019 and the following assets were confiscated:
– Property of the type "Truall" with an area of 350m2, located in the city of Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type "Truall" with an area of 1500m2 and a building of 23 m2 located in Lazarat, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type "Truall" with an area of 450 m2, located in Grehot, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type "Truall" with an area of 1646 m2 located in Grehot, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Field” with an area of 7000 m2 located in the village of Arshi Lengo, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Apartment” with an area of 120 m2 construction, and property of the type “Square area” 600 m2 located in Lazarat;
– Property of the type “Fuel” with an area of 148 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Two-storey office building” with an area of 69 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Local” with an area of 94 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Warehouse” with an area of 437 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Warehouse” with an area of 98 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Warehouse” with an area of 542 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Vendroje” with an area of 5 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Concrete Joint” with an area of 55 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Solid Materials Approach Site” with an area of 424 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
– Property of the type “Plot” with an area of 2224 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër; and
– Property of the type “Plot” with an area of 1608 m2 located in Kordhocë, Gjirokastër;
The Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra expresses its full commitment to the priority investigation of property proceedings as well as the sequestration/confiscation of assets in implementation of Law No. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the Prevention and Combating of Organized Crime, Trafficking and Corruption through Preventive Measures Against Assets".
In addition, the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction in Gjirokastra expresses its full commitment to the continuation of investigations of group acts related to illegal enrichment through taking measures for their sequestration and confiscation", the court announces.
