Vlora police have arrested 3 people after a fight that occurred in the Narta roundabout area.
Three citizens, Irfan Dalipaj, 58 years old, Drisild Dalipaj, 27 years old, and Fabio Dalipaj, 23 years old (father and 2 sons), all three residents of Vlora, have been arrested after the serious incident that occurred yesterday where they clashed with INUV employees.
The incident occurred yesterday, at the Narta roundabout, where these citizens operate a car sales and car wash business. During the inspection of public spaces by the Vlora Municipality structure, they physically assaulted the Director of IMT, DK, 33 years old.
The police intervened immediately to stop the attack, but the three citizens continued the violence against the police officers, causing bodily harm. During the scuffle, a police officer fired once in the air with his service weapon to repel the attackers, without causing any injuries.
The three arrested are under the security measure of "arrest in flagrante delicto", while the police officers have been hospitalized, out of danger to their lives.
"Crime Investigation Specialists at the Vlora Police Station arrested in flagrante delicto citizens ID, 58 years old, DD, 27 years old and ID, 23 years old, residents of Vlora, after on 22.12.2025, at the place called the Narta roundabout, where these citizens were engaged in vehicle sales and car wash activities, during inspections of Vlora Municipality structures, with a focus on the clearance of public spaces, they exercised physical violence against the Director of the IMT in the Vlora Municipality, citizen DK, 33 years old.
Immediately after the physical attack was detected, the Traffic Police officers intervened to stop the illegal actions, but these citizens continued the physical violence against the Police officers, causing bodily harm. During this time, one of the Police officers fired once in the air with his service weapon, in order to repel the attack by the three perpetrators, without causing injuries. The Police officers are currently hospitalized, out of danger to their lives, "the Police statement said.
