The announcement by Shkodra MP Marjana Koçeku that she would run as an independent is said to have destabilized Edi Rama.
In a fit of rage, he called a meeting of the Presidency and the Parliamentary Group, a notice he also distributed to the media, in the hope of getting a reaction from the so-called "neo-mountaineer", as a result of the conflict that arose after the issue of the guesthouse in the Lake Koman valley.
But the MP, according to sources, has not broken the silence at all and has not communicated with anyone.
Rama has sent many emissaries to attempt a peaceful negotiation, but it seems that he has not succeeded, as he has received the same response: the position has been given and will not change.
Fearing that a domino effect could be created, he has currently suspended the meetings of the Presidency and the Parliamentary Group, leaving the official position of the majority in suspense after the Shkodra MP's open alignment with the protest.
In this tense situation, as is often the case, the propaganda kitchen has begun producing conspiracy theories with enemies, agents, and polyagents, to keep the dazed militants warm.
Several versions have been released so far.
One says that the MP was "recruited" by the Germans, after receiving support for her business.
Another claims that she is unhappy with the appointments in Shkodra, where no one asks her questions or takes into account the demands of the citizens.
Someone else says he's upset because "Uncle Edi" yelled at him a few days ago in the Shkodra castle.
Other voices claim that everything is a "boss' stunt," that he has something in mind, but that no one knows.
Within a few hours, numerous theories circulated.
Meanwhile, what is known for sure is that those who demanded the surrender of the mandate from Marjana Koçeku received the order directly from Edi Rama.
Who has entered a state of paranoia because he still has not understood what is hidden behind the departure of a 26-year-old MP.
In reality, beyond the prime minister's paranoia, which has reached levels typical of autocrats at the end of their political cycle, there is very little room for conspiracy theories here.
When Marjana Koçeku was placed first on the Shkodra list for the May 11, 2025 elections, Pamfleti published an article critical of this election.
A criticism based on the reaction of the Shkodra socialists themselves, who were surprised by this decision.
Because Shkodra, as one of the most important regions of the country, deserves to have prepared representatives, with political weight and truly connected to the community they represent.
Marjana Koçeku presented herself as a representative of Dukagjini, while a good part of the socialists in that area did not know her at all.
The Dukagjini Socialists have a long political tradition. They won local government and elected deputies at a time when the Socialists were routinely losing both in the city of Shkodra and in the Sub-region.
But Edi Rama reacted fiercely to that article, attacking the newspaper, while in reality his anger was directed at the Dukagjini socialists.

Even if the Pamphlet's criticism had been wrong, it was at least based on arguments worthy of debate.
Edi Rama only seeks arguments when it suits him.

The movement of MPs from one parliamentary group to another is normal practice in any democratic parliament.
The real problem lies in the system built by Edi Rama, where candidates are personally selected by him, without asking anyone.

Beyond political intrigues, Marjana Koçeku has recently made several public statements that can be considered positive.
One of them was the opposition to what she called the takeover of the University of Shkodra by criminal clans, a process that ended with the resignation of the rector, Tonin Gjuraj.
This is a clear political stance.
And, even if it's the only one so far, it gives the new MP a significant point.
Because he is showing that he has more political instinct than Edi Rama himself, who seems increasingly captured by the dark clans that control not only Shkodra.
