The SP MP in the Shkodra District, Marjana Koçeku, otherwise known as "Neomalsorja", announced yesterday that she will no longer be part of the socialist parliamentary group, declaring that she will exercise her mandate as an independent MP.
Her socialist colleague Erion Malaj revealed that he tried to call Koçek when he read the news of her departure, but her phone was turned off.
Speaking on Andrea Danglli's "Off the Record" show on A2CNN, Malaj said that everyone makes their own decisions in life, and time will tell who is right.
" Up until now, in no meeting of the parliamentary group has any kind of dissatisfaction been expressed, or any of the elements that we are using. Ms. Koçeku at no point, until a week ago, has there been any dissatisfaction. I have a very correct relationship with Ms. Koçeku, I do not know the reason, since, there will be an official communication from the parliamentary group, what I can say is that until last week Ms. Koçeku, even in her capacity as secretary of a Parliamentary Committee, informed us about everything, draft laws, meetings. She had all positions in line with our parliamentary group. When I read in the media what they wrote about Ms. Koçeku's status, I did the only civic action that a colleague or young person can do, I tried to call her to ask her. The phone was turned off, I could not communicate with Ms. Koçeku. She has the right to think as she wants, I cannot allude at this moment. "It doesn't disappoint me because everyone makes their own decisions in life. Time will tell who is right and who is wrong ," Malaj said.
