British singer Ed Sheeran has announced that he will take a temporary break from music after the end of his current tour, emphasizing that he wants to devote more time to family life and his role as a father.
During the first concert of his North American tour, in Arizona, the artist addressed the audience, hinting that this could be his last performance for a long time.
"This will be the last time I'm here for a while. I might take a break when the tour is over and be a dad for a while. If I don't see you for a while, I love you and thank you for coming," Sheeran told fans.
The singer is the father of two children with his wife Cherry Seaborn, to whom he has been married since 2019.
Ed Sheeran is no stranger to breaks from music, having previously taken short breaks to focus on his personal life and off-stage projects.
