Renowned Kosovar singer Sinan Vllasaliu has spoken for the first time about the motorcycle accident he suffered last week, from which he was injured and underwent surgery.
Recalling the moment of the accident, he told "Prive" that everything happened within a few moments and that the road conditions contributed to the loss of control.
"I don't know how to explain it exactly. It all happened very quickly. It had rained a little, the road was slippery, and on a bend I lost control. I wasn't going very fast, but when you're on a motorbike, any speed can be dangerous ," he said.
Vllasaliu indicated that the quick reaction of the people close to him was crucial to avoiding more serious consequences.
"I was lucky to have an anesthesiologist friend by my side, who helped me immediately. If he hadn't intervened that day, the situation could have been much more serious ," said the singer.
Due to his health condition, he was unable to attend the wedding of the world star of Albanian origin, Dua Lipa, even though the engagement had been planned for months.
"I had met Duan in March and every detail had been organized beforehand. It was a special honor to be part of a family celebration of an artist who represents Albanians around the world," he declared.
However, the singer said he accepted the situation with calmness and confidence.
"I believe that everything happens for a reason. I am grateful to God that the event did not have more serious consequences, although it remains a shame that I was not able to be present at that wedding ," said Vllasaliu.
He announced that he is continuing his recovery process and thanked everyone who has stood by him with support and encouraging messages.
