Police have cracked down on two cases of illegal possession of weapons in Tirana and have uncovered a case of a place being used to sell narcotics.
As part of this operation, a 31-year-old man was arrested for possessing a firearm and is also suspected of raping a 29-year-old woman.
A 24-year-old man was also arrested after firearms and cold weapons were found in his bar. Police also arrested 5 other people, customers of the bar, for failing to report a crime.
Police have seized 2 firearms, combat ammunition, 1 bulletproof vest, narcotics, 2 vehicles, 7 cell phones and 2 cold weapons.

Tirana/The police operation codenamed "Several" is finalized, 2 cases of illegal possession of weapons and 1 case of adapting premises for the use/sale of narcotics are investigated.
-He possessed a Kalashnikov rifle and cocaine in the vehicle, the 31-year-old was arrested. This citizen is suspected of having had sexual intercourse with a 29-year-old woman.
-The 24-year-old was arrested in his bar for possessing 1 firearm, 1 bulletproof vest and 2 cold weapons.
Five other citizens, customers of the bar, were also arrested for failing to report a crime. Two firearms, combat ammunition, one bulletproof vest, narcotics, two vehicles, seven cell phones, and two cold weapons were seized.
The services of Commissariat No. 3, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Eagle", finalized the police operation codenamed "Several", as a result of which the following citizens were arrested:
