New details have emerged from the triple accident on the 'Strum-Roskovec' road axis the night before.
According to police sources, one of the drivers with the initials BC stopped and parked almost in the middle of the road, while opening the car door.
It is initially suspected that the victim, Klajdi Hoxha, was traveling at high speed and consequently collided with the parked vehicle. The same sources emphasize that the 33-year-old attempted to avoid the collision, but was unable to, ending up on the opposite side of the road where another citizen with the initials FD was traveling in front of him. The latter is also reported to have been traveling at a speed exceeding the permitted limits.
According to road experts, all three drivers are suspected of being at fault for the fatal accident. The two drivers have been arrested by the police for the criminal offense of "Violation of traffic rules".
"Following the information on yesterday's accident, on the "Strum-Roskovec" road axis, where as a result of the collision of the motorcycle driven by citizen MH, 33 years old, initially with the vehicle driven by citizen BC, and then with the vehicle driven by citizen FD, the 33-year-old lost his life, we inform that the specialists of the Road Traffic Sector carried out the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizens BC, 70 years old, resident of Roskovec and FD, 37 years old, resident of Berat, for the criminal offense "Violation of road traffic rules. The procedural materials were referred to the Fier Prosecutor's Office for further action", the police announced today.
