Under these conditions, in accordance with the Normative Act, diesel will be sold at 214.5 lek/liter, while gasoline will be sold at 171.5 lek/liter...
The Transparency Board has published the new prices for the sale of gasoline and diesel in our country. Prices have increased in the last meeting, now sending the price of diesel to 224 lek/liter and that of gasoline to 181 lek/liter.
But based on the Normative Act approved today, the excise duty level was reduced by 20 percent and together with VAT, it means that the above-determined price has been automatically reduced by 9.5 lek/liter. The prices set by the Board will come into effect today, the 3rd, at 20:00 and will be valid until the next board meeting where the changes in sales prices will be reflected.
We recall that the Normative Act provides for a 20% reduction in excise duty if the retail price, determined by the Transparency Board, exceeds 220 lek per liter for diesel and 200 lek per liter for gasoline.
The measures will be in force until the international situation stabilizes, ensuring the protection of citizens, the state budget and the national economy in this critical period.
