Strategic peace or a billion-dollar realignment of American and Russian interests?
Donald Trump's administration has put at the center of peace negotiations between Russia and Ukraine not just a ceasefire, but a broad, economically qualified package that aims to include strategic investments, reconstruction, and the opening of key economic sectors, with tangible benefits for major American and global sectors.
At the heart of this plan is an idea that has sparked fierce debate among Western partners: using hundreds of billions of dollars in frozen Russian assets as a source of capital for peace and reconstruction projects, including investments in infrastructure and strategic sectors such as energy, technology, and mineral resources. At the heart of this approach is a scenario where a significant portion of these funds would be channeled to projects led by, or in collaboration with, American companies, ensuring that future profits are shared between the parties and Western investors.
One of the most contentious scenarios is proposed in documents circulating around the 28-point peace plan, where $100 billion of frozen Russian assets would be used for the reconstruction of Ukraine under American leadership, while the rest is earmarked for joint economic projects between the US and Russia aimed at common interests that "create incentives for long-term peace."
In this context, the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant has been mentioned as one of the places where investment could be made, including the construction of a large data center that would operate on its own energy, opening up new opportunities for American technology and financial companies.
Beyond the frozen assets, another part of the scheme involves the Russian oil company Lukoil, which under pressure from Western sanctions is being forced to sell its international assets at low prices. The assets in question, which include refineries, oil fields in Iraq, Kazakhstan and distribution networks in Europe, are worth about $22 billion, but under the pressure of sanctions they could pass into foreign hands at symbolic prices.
This initiative has raised alarm among European partners, who have long criticized the idea of restoring Russian energy imports and have argued that the release or manipulation of Russian international assets should only be done to strengthen Ukraine and not to revive energy dependence on Moscow.
Thelbësore në këtë kontest është se “paqja Trumpiane” nuk është vetëm një armëpushim ushtarak, por një skemë ku interesat e biznesit dhe investimeve perëndimore bëhen pjesë e zgjidhjes së konfliktit, dhe pikërisht në këtë pikë lind kritika se strategjia amerikane ka elemente që i shkojnë përfitimit ekonomik të oligarkëve dhe korporatave, jo vetëm stabilitetit afatgjatë gjeopolitik.
Në zemër të debatit që po zhvillohet mes administratës amerikane, Bashkimit Evropian dhe Kievit është pikërisht kjo: a është e mundur që një plan paqeje të kombinojë lidershipin politik me interesat ekonomike të investitorëve të mëdhenj, apo kjo qasje rrezikon të zhvendosë fokusin nga siguria dhe integriteti territorial i Ukrainës drejt rikthimit të influencave ekonomike transatlantike mbi burimet strategjike?
Në këtë pikë, zgjidhja e konfliktit ukrainas duket se lidhet jo vetëm me armët dhe kufijtë, por edhe me paratë miliardëshe që po riorganizohen në skenën globale, dhe me mënyrën se si këto para do të përdoren për rindërtim, zhvillim apo edhe për krijimin e interesave të reja ekonomike që do të formësojnë rregullat e paqes së ardhshme./Pamfleti
SHBA nuk janë peshqir, që të fshijnë menderen shtetet e NATO-s(Europiane) minus Turqinë në konfliktin Rusi- Ukrahinë. SHBA nën e me Tramp, nuk marin përsipër të hyjnë në luftë me Rusinë.SHBA nuk i dalin garant Belgjikës që të konfiskojnë "asetet e ngrira ruse". NATO- pjesa Europiane nëse i ka thënë mëndjes ik pirdhu, le ti dalin në krah Ukrahinës dhe le ti fitojnë me luftë teritoret e pushtuara nga Rusia. Rusia është agresori. Por pyetja dhe analiza fillon: kush e nxori nga shishja shejtanin, kush ja hoqi tapën shishes? Nuk ka një marrëveshje midis Tramp dhe Putinit që bjeri ti Ukrahinës, se pastaj bëjmë pazar bashkë. Por ka teori konspirative nga qarqet radikale majtiste, për ta lënë dobiçin në derë SHBA.
