After the rally in front of the Prime Minister's Office ended, the protesters continued their march through the streets of Tirana, moving the protest towards the institutions and main axes of the capital.
One of the main stops of the march was the Parliament building, where protesters issued strong slogans against MPs and the political class.
"The Parliament of crime", "The Parliament sold out", were heard from the crowd of protesters, who accuse Albanian politics of no longer representing the interests of citizens.
The march then continued on the streets of Tirana, where protesters called on citizens to leave the premises and join the movement.
"Get up from the coffee," was one of the slogans that was constantly repeated during the protesters' march through the capital.
As they marched through Elbasan Street and other areas of the city, participants called for more civic engagement, arguing that change cannot come without mass participation.
"Come out and join us," was heard from the protesters, who have been protesting every evening in Tirana for 17 days.
The movement, which began as opposition to the Zvërnec project, has gradually transformed into a broader revolt against the government and the political class as a whole. In recent protests, calls have increased not only against the government, but also against the opposition and institutions that protesters consider part of the same system.
