Why doesn't the Democratic Party support Lefter Maliqi's fight to dismiss Hajdar of Kuçova...
Former MP Lefter Maliqi is one of the most active and strongest voices in support of Sali Berisha and the Democratic Party, in the opposition battle with denunciations and criminal charges against corruption, electoral crime and organized crime, which has involved Edi Rama's government.
One of Lefter Maliqi's battles is against electoral crime in the Municipality of Kuçova, committed by Mayor Kreshnik Hajdari and the area's criminal gangs, financed with corruption money from Rama's famous builder, Pëllumb Salillari.
The fact has been denounced for 3 years and there are 4 criminal reports in SPAK, with evidence that the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari, received the mandate with stolen and bought votes, but no criminal case has been initiated against him for this crime.
Also, Kreshnik Hajdari continues to remain mayor, although in July 2024 he was convicted by a final decision by the Special Court for concealing a criminal conviction in Greece and according to the decriminalization law he should be dismissed.
But the Chairman of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, with influence in the "tepsia" of Pëllumb Salillari, has not implemented the decision of the Special Court for almost 2 years, by not terminating the mandate of the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari.
Shamefully, in the same line of cooperation with Ilirjan Celibashi of the CEC and Pëllumb Salillari, is also Sali Berisha, in defense of the mayor of Kuçova, Kreshnik Hajdari, and against the cause won by Lefter Maliqi.
Faced with this fact, suspicion has been raised that Pëllumb Salillari has "sealed the mouth" of the President of the DP, Sali Berisha, who is not even formally supporting the legal right of Lefter Maliqi, the former MP and candidate of the DP-LSI alliance for the Municipality of Kuçova.
Sali Berisha, who preaches for justice, has not said a word for about 3 years about the theft of votes by Hajdari and Salillari in Kuçova, nor about the decision of the Special Court, which forces the CEC to dismiss the mayor of Kuçova.
The Chairman of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, is not implementing the court's decision because, as is said, he has been exposed in several wiretaps for embezzlement by the Hajdari-Salillari duo.
It is understandable that Sali Berisha is not saying a word against Ilirjan Celibashi, because he is not implementing the final court decision to terminate the mandate of the convicted Hajdar of Kuçova, because Celibashi is Fatmir Mediu's brother-in-law.
