SPAK's Shame: Accusation against Mayor Kristjan Shkreli of a Cabal Stretch

Kristjan Shkreli is accused of 'electoral crime' because he connected the electricity cable to residents who had been left in the dark for years; while SPAK did not investigate who stole the funds from that line. The ridiculous case was 'discovered' two days after Edi Rama publicly accused the mayor. According to this logic, the prime minister, ministers and all government officials who give bonuses, asphalt roads and bags of food during the campaign should be in prison.

On May 12, 2026, a court hearing was held at the Special Court against the mayor of Vau i Dejës, Kristjan Shkreli, accused by SPAK of having interfered with the installation of an electricity cable in a village neighborhood in this municipality during the campaign for the May 11, 2023 elections.

SPAK considers this intervention in the service of the community a favor to secure votes from the residents who brought the power cable, but which is actually the duty of the state and this was requested and secured by the mayor of Vau i Dejës, Kristjan Shkreli.

He did not do it secretly, but openly, bringing electricity to residents left in the dark, while SPAK has sought electoral crime and brought him to trial, instead of investigating and holding those who stole the funds for that power line and did not build it to be defendants.

The new justice system, which was created to fight corruption and organized crime, is hitting a municipal leader who promised and brought energy to several families, with criminal charges, with which SPAK, unfortunately, is embarrassing itself by making a fool of itself.

According to the logic of the prosecutor in the case and the head of SPAK who approved this criminal proceeding, Prime Minister Edi Rama, ministers, mayors and directors who gave bonuses to pensioners during the electoral campaign should also be considered defendants.

Those government officials who have distributed land and legalization papers, forgiven fines and energy bills, paved village roads, installed electricity booths and lines, water supply lines, and delivered bags of food to poor voters, all of this is called vote-rigging and is prohibited by electoral law, but the SPAK Task Force did not treat them as electoral crimes.

To justify the impunity of electoral crimes committed by those in power, and even the involvement of bandits in the campaign and elections, SPAK invented as an electoral crime for statistical purposes the interest of the Mayor of Vau i Dejës, Kristjan Shkreli, in OSHEE, to lay an energy cable for the residents of a village.

Perhaps this ridiculous process has no connection to any political message, but it is no coincidence that SPAK "discovered" this electoral crime two days after Prime Minister Edi Rama accused Kristjan Shkreli of playing a double game during the campaign and of unpredictable consequences for him./ Pamphlet
