It is revealed why the Security Academy students ended up in the hospital...
Police Academy students have been poisoned by pasta. Preliminary analyses conducted by ISUV show that the pasta cooked by the SORI-AL company of Nikolin Jaka and Alma Tafani, had the presence of staphylococcal coagulase and E.coli bacteria.
According to "TCH", the cause is suspected to have been poor hygienic conditions where the food was cooked, since the uncooked pasta found there turned out to be fine. So the contamination occurred during cooking.
The other scandal is that the students who were poisoned continue to be fed by the SORI-AL company, the only change for them is the dining hall, as the former premises of the Police Academy are being disinfected by the IHP.
For the incident, Tirana Police have arrested the technologist and the chef and have declared the owner of the company wanted for poisoning the students of the Security Academy.
The students who were poisoned had severe symptoms, with vomiting and severe abdominal pain. After being admitted to the hospital, receiving medication and serums, they returned to the Security Academy.
By the end of 2025, the Sori-Al company results as the winner of 75 public tenders, with a total value of 4.2 billion lek.
But this is not the first time that Nikolin Jaka's "SORI-AL" company has poisoned students at the Police Academy with expired and contaminated food. There have also been cases of poisoning in nurseries, kindergartens, dormitories, hospitals, the army and prisons, where this company has received and continues to receive millions of euros in tenders.
For police students, the case of May 6, 2026 is the third time, after 2015, that Nikolin Jaka's "SORI-AL" company has poisoned them with food, endangering their lives, while being tolerated by the Academy's leaders, with whom it has bargained.
The first case is the poisoning of 63 police students on May 18, 2015. This poisoning was attempted to be kept secret through checks from businessman Nikolin Jaka, given to the leaders, but was discovered when the students' condition worsened and they were sent to the "Mother Teresa" Hospital Center, Tirana.
The second case is the poisoning of 30 police students, on March 3, 2021, when again the leaders of the Police Academy, in bargaining with businessman Nikolin Jaka, tried to keep it secret, but the students' condition worsened and they were sent to the "Mother Teresa" Hospital Center, Tirana.
