Arlind Qori, leader of the Lëvizja Bashkë, and MP Redi Mucci, were today in Rrjoll, where residents, supported by several dozen citizens who have been protesting in Tirana for days, tore down the fence set up by the Bashkim Ulaj company, which aims to build a resort, on lands claimed by locals.
While expressing solidarity with the residents of Rrjoll, whose lands have been robbed, Qori and Mucci considered the fencing with railings and barbed wire of the land where construction work for the resort has begun illegal.
Qori told Report TV that such sieges prevent citizens from crossing the sea.
"How can you surround with barbed wire the passage of citizens to the sea. This is illegal and is based on the theft of the properties of hundreds of citizens. The owners with papers are 1 and 2, while those expropriated by the oligarchs are in the hundreds. Injustice towards the legitimate owners, towards the general public. Here are protected areas, how can it be built in this way. They have the advantage, we are in solidarity with them," said Qori.
