Blendi Gonxha's asset declaration reinforces the belief that the ILDKPI does not verify the assets of some senior officials, or even when it discovers hidden assets, it does not bring them to justice for investigation.
Referring to Blendi Gonxha's asset declaration and knowing his numerous corrupt affairs, starting in 1998 at the Ministry of Culture and then at the Municipality of Tirana, in 3 directorates and in two ministries as a minister, there are indications that he has hidden many real estate assets and monetary values.
As evidence for SPAK, if it is willing to investigate Blendi Gonxhe, we are mentioning the fact that in the years 2005-2008 he was an immigrant in Italy and Greece, but did not declare a single cent of savings from work.
He has not even declared the period 2003-2005 when he lived and did business in Barcelona, after fleeing Albania, because he was criminally prosecuted for the intentional opening of the Lake Tirana dam.
It should be investigated that, although Gonxhe did not declare savings from his work in emigration, after returning to Albania he opened a construction business, freight and passenger transport, a "Taxi" company, import and sale and rental of cars, a food and beverage business, and even opened a newspaper.
The lights and shadows of assets declared by the power-hungry Gonxha
In 2024, Blendi Gonxhe did not declare a house, but declared the sale of 342 m² of land for 150 million lekë, the amount he had purchased; while he donated the company "Albarent" to his wife.
He declares 131,772 euros in income from the sale of assets, without declaring what type of assets he sold and what were the sources of their insurance; while together with his wife and two sons, he declares 21 bank accounts with balances ranging from zero to 12-30 euros.
He declares 15.3 million lek for the purchase of Treasury Bills, with sources from his personal income and has given loans; as well as bank accounts worth 4.86 million lek, again with sources from income.
Meanwhile, he is repaying a 226 thousand euro loan, while his wife Elda Gonxhe declares 39 thousand euros in income from the transport business; 51 thousand euros in income from rentals.
Son David Gonxhe declares 1 apartment in the Netherlands paid for by his parents and an account of 240 thousand lekë; while the other son Dante Gonxhe declares a car worth 46 thousand USD; expenses of 51 thousand euros; 2 accounts of 324 euros and 2.8 million lekë income from salary at the firm "Albarent".
Two criminal investigations against Blendi Gonxhja have been blocked at SPAK
In March 2021, against Blendi Gonxhja, at the time Director of Road Transport, SPAK began an investigation for corruption, concealment of assets, transactions outside banks, and money laundering in building and tower construction businesses, through his son-in-law, Mihal Delijorgji.
The investigation did not progress further and has been blocked for 5 years; there is even no announcement from SPAK whether Blendi Gonxhe has been questioned about this matter or not; because the traces of the first investigations led to the financing of dirty money in the construction of the palaces by his baxhanak Mihal Delijorgji of Gërdec.
On July 25, 2022, Blendi Gonxhe was summoned to SPAK, because through his company "Albarent" and the firm "DG - Dante Gonxhe" he received millions from the Tirana landfill and from the state.
About 4 years have passed since the start of this investigation and Blendi Gonxhe has not been summoned by SPAK; but sources from BKH have told "Pamfleti" that the investigation against him was discontinued and has been blocked as a file, while Blendi has been made a minister twice./ Pamfleti
