President Trump claims that the US has significantly weakened the Iranian military in two weeks.
During a statement at the White House, he warned that Tehran was backing down in the face of American pressure. While speaking about Iran, Trump used a direct and defiant tone, declaring that "Iran dare not play with the United States."
"They don't like to play games with us. They don't like it at all. You'll see that over time, you'll see it. I think you've seen it already," he declared.
The US president then made a strong claim about the results of the military confrontation . "We have practically destroyed their military in about two weeks," Trump said.
Trump has previously repeated similar claims about US military success against Iran, while his statements come at a time of high tensions in the region and ongoing clashes between the parties.
