United States President Donald Trump was filmed sleeping during Game 3 of the NBA Finals, which took place on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.
Images circulating widely on social media have led some users to claim that the president was seen dozing in the private box where he was attending the meeting, in the company of New York Knicks owner James Dolan.
The event has generated numerous reactions online, while critics have brought back attention to previous claims about Trump's drowsiness during public events, often labeling him with the nickname "Commander-in-Sleep".
The anti-Trump activist group "Lincoln Project" mocked his presence at the match, calling it "the most expensive taxpayer-funded nap."
The comments didn't end there. Other social media users also criticized the president's previous statements, which had suggested that fans who couldn't afford the high ticket prices could watch the match on television.
