Iran has issued a new warning to the United States and Israel, declaring that a "new security belt" is being formed in the region stretching from the Strait of Hormuz to the strategic Bab al-Mandeb Strait, one of the world's most important maritime corridors.

According to the Iranian state news agency IRNA, the commander of the Revolutionary Guard's Quds Force, Esmail Qaani, stated that Iran's allied groups in the Middle East have increased the level of coordination and are ready to react together in the event of a new military escalation.

"The swift and powerful action of heroic Yemenis shows the wisdom of the resistance front. If necessary, others will join them," Qaani said, referring to the Tehran-backed Houthi movement.

The Iranian official accused Israel and the US of pushing the region towards a wider conflict and warned that any further action would be met with a coordinated response.

"The provocations of the Zionist regime and the United States in this region will be met with the response of a united resistance front," he declared.

Qaani also stressed the strategic importance of the maritime corridors connecting the Persian Gulf to the Red Sea, hinting that Iran's allied groups have positions near these key global transportation hubs.

"Warriors without borders are monitoring your sea crossing points. Continue the aggression and they will grab you by the throat," he said.

The statements come at a time of high tensions in the Middle East, just hours after Israel and Iran announced a temporary suspension of mutual attacks following diplomatic intervention by the United States.

The Strait of Hormuz, through which a significant portion of global oil supplies pass, and the Bab al-Mandeb, the main entrance to the Suez Canal, are considered two of the most sensitive points of global trade. Any threat to their security could have direct consequences for energy markets and international shipping.

The Iranian commander's statement is seen as a signal that Tehran intends to use its network of regional allies as a tool of pressure in the event of a resumption of military confrontation with Israel or the US.
