It is difficult to describe the geopolitical context in which almost every part of the world is living today. The Middle East remains a “powder keg”, which is no longer limited only to the century-long conflict between Jews and Palestinians, but especially the last 2 years of Israel’s actions with the tragic situation in Gaza,
created by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Hamas terrorist group.
Determining who has more responsibility is like entering into an ideological clash that is the exact opposite of the art of compromise and, above all, of the art of the possible, that is, of politics, which must achieve practical and realistic results, mediating between ideals and real constraints.
Almost all current ruling classes around the world seem far removed from this art. Suffice it to think that the mediation action that led to a shaky ceasefire is still failing to address the second point of the agreement.
Next to that hearth of horror that has caused thousands of deaths, another powder keg is growing every day, the Iranian one, where the ancient Persian people are rebelling against the theocratic dictatorship of the ayatollahs.
Khomeini's successor, the current Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, has ruled that anyone who protests commits a "sin against Allah" and therefore deserves the rope. It is difficult to know what has already happened in Iran, because the country is cut off from digital connectivity with the rest of the world.
Only fragmentary and uncertain news emerges from there. There is talk of hundreds if not thousands of deaths and thousands of arrests due to the actions of the Pasdaran, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
Let's continue this frightening description with the continuous and incessant bombing of Ukraine by Russia and now with almost a sense of indifference towards attempts at agreement and peace, amidst discussions about sending military troops from several European countries, rearmament and trilateral cross-play between the US, Russia and China.
A true chaos, in which the European Union effectively results in a political dwarf, appearing as a spectator on the fringes of a new world order that others are attempting to build while preserving their own interests above all else.
Rrëfimi rrëqethës vazhdon. Nëse Vladimir Putin ishte “goditësi” i parë i rendit botëror me pushtimin e Ukrainës 4 vite më parë, vitin e kaluar Uashingtoni nxori një goditës të dytë global, Donald Trumpin.
Ky i fundit, për të bllokuar (sipas tij) trafikun e drogës, por mbi të gjitha për të shtënë në dorë naftën e Venezuelës duke ia hequr Rusisë dhe Kinës, por edhe vendeve të tjera, u kujtua papritur se Nicolas Maduro qenka një diktator gjakatar.
Kështu, ai i jep vetes të drejtën për ta marrë atë forcërisht nga dhoma e gjumit në Karakas dhe për ta dërguar në Shtetet e Bashkuara për ta gjykuar. Po e drejta ndërkombëtare? OKB-ja? Gjykatat ndërkombëtare?
Gjithçka është harruar në kaosin global që po përhapet kudo. Dhe Trump nuk ndalet te Venezuela, por krijon një rrëmujë të madhe duke u përpjekur të negociojë blerjen e Grenlandës, gjë që sipas shumë analistëve do të shënonte fundin e NATO-s.
I pandalshëm në papërgjegjshmërinë e tij, në një moment aq delikat, Trump kërcënon të ndërhyjë në Iran për të mbështetur kryengritësit, si dhe kërcënon Meksikën, Kolumbinë dhe Kubën.
Por dy goditësit e deklaruar, të cilët janë shfaqur me gjithë paaftësinë e tyre politike, ka shumë gjasa të jenë duke ndihmuar një konkurrent ose një bashkëpunëtor që rri e vështron mënjanë: kinezin Xi Jinping. Ai shfaqet si një interpretues i përsosur i mësimeve të Konfucit, i cili thoshte: “Prit në breg të lumit dhe herët a vonë do të shohësh të kalojë kufoma e armikut tënd!”.
Xi Jinping nuk e fsheh më vullnetin për t’u bërë fuqia më e madhe botërore. Kinezët vazhdojnë manovrat e tyre ushtarake rrotull Tajvanit, duke deklaruar se duan ta aneksojnë, duke grisur marrëveshjen midis Henry Kissinger-it dhe Zhou Enlai-t të viteve 1970, e cila përdorte një “mosekzistencë” surreale por të dobishme të Tajvanit, për të arritur një marrëdhënie sino-amerikane.
Kina ka tashmë një kontroll të gjerë në Afrikë, është zyrtarisht pjesë e BRICS-it, por në realitet po e shtrin vazhdimisht ndikimin e saj si forca e dytë e botës. Zyrtarisht ajo promovon një bashkëjetesë me amerikanët, por ndoshta po pret “në breg të lumit” siç mësonte Konfuci.
Ajo që u shpëton analistëve dhe të gjithë ne - që ndoshta po përsërisim rolin e “gjumashëve” (somnambulëve) siç bënë gjyshërit dhe etërit tanë në dy luftërat botërore të shekullit XX - është se çfarë lloj loje trepalëshe po zhvillohet në kuadrin gjeopolitik botëror.
Le të shohim disa efekte. Provat e bashkëjetesës sino-amerikane, po vënë në alarm aleatët e Uashingtonit në Indo-Paqësor, duke filluar nga Japonia, dhe rrezikojnë të hedhin tërthorazi bazat e një konflikti kryesisht aziatik.
Loja e madhe për kontrollin e botës, po i shkatërron shtyllat e vjetra të së drejtës ndërkombëtare, e cila nëse duam që të jemi realistë, duhet rishkruar tërësisht. Por ndërkohë, loja trepalëshe mund të reduktohet në një përplasje finale dyshe mes SHBA-së dhe Kinës.
