Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has called for the prosecution of the leaders of the United States and Israel. He alleged that grave violations have been committed during the conflicts, citing the killing of children, attacks on health facilities and significant physical and psychological harm to civilians. According to him, these cases should be investigated and prosecuted in both Iranian and international courts.

Iranian leader Sayyed Khamenei has ordered the country's judiciary to take legal action against Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he holds responsible for war crimes committed against Iran and the Iranian people during the conflicts of 2025 and 2026.

In a message on the occasion of National Judiciary Week, Khamenei said that pursuing these cases constitutes one of the main priorities of the Iranian justice system.

"The perpetrators of these crimes must be caught and held accountable ," Khamenei said, describing the suspected criminal acts as "a case file among hundreds, in fact thousands, of important legal cases that must be pursued seriously in domestic and international courts."

According to him, the cases include the killing of children in Minab and Lamerd, attacks on medical and service facilities, and the assassination of Seyyid Ali Khamenei, along with what he described as great physical, psychological, material and spiritual harm inflicted on the Iranian people.

Khamenei stated that the judiciary should rely on previous directives to investigate crimes committed during the previous war and continue to seek accountability "until a decision is made and its execution is entrusted to the competent parties."

He also argued that statements made by American and Israeli officials reinforce the legal basis for criminal proceedings.

"The confessions and even shameless boasting of some American and Zionist enemy leaders about these crimes constitute an admission of guilt ," he said, adding that such remarks "laid the proper foundation for the restoration of the violated rights of the nation."

Khamenei also mentioned the assassination of his father, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, including it among "thousands of major issues" that, according to him, require justice.

In his statement, he stated that 'these criminals must be brought to justice for their criminal acts,'" while adding that the public statements and admission of actions by the leaders of what he called the "US-Zionist enemy" constitute, according to him, clear evidence of responsibility.

According to Khamenei, the investigation of the events related to the two conflicts has been entrusted to the competent authorities and aims not only to punish those responsible, but also to prevent the recurrence of similar events in the future.

Mojtaba Khamenei's statements come at a time when tensions between the United States and Iran have escalated again. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced that it has launched another series of strikes on Iranian military targets, hitting air defense systems, missile and drone depots, as well as surveillance infrastructure. According to the US military, the operation was a "direct response" to continued Iranian attacks on merchant ships in the Strait of Hormuz.

Separately, Iranian state media reported explosions near the city of Sirik, on Qeshm Island and near Bandar-Lengeh, although these reports have not been independently verified. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had carried out missile and drone attacks on US military targets in Kuwait and Bahrain, claiming that the US bases in Ali Al-Salem and Mina Salman had been hit. These claims have not been confirmed by US authorities.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump accused Iran of repeated violations of the ceasefire agreement and confirmed that the US had struck Iranian military targets in response. He warned that if the attacks continued, Washington could take further military action. According to US authorities, this is the second attack on Iranian targets since the framework agreement reached between the two countries in mid-June, which signals a new escalation of the crisis between Washington and Tehran.
