US Central Command said today that more than 70 ships are being prevented from entering or leaving Iranian ports due to the US blockade.
The command also announced that these ships are carrying about 166 million barrels of Iranian oil, which has a market value of $13 million. It also added that more than 50 ships have been redirected.
"Currently, US forces are preventing more than 70 tankers from entering or leaving Iranian ports. These commercial vessels have the capacity to transport over 166 million barrels of Iranian oil worth approximately $13 billion," US Central Command said in a post on X.
Recall that earlier, the Revolutionary Guard Navy warned all ships in the Strait to stay away from American warships as they are at risk of attack.
