Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi declared that Tehran is fully ready to defend the country, while emphasizing that Iranian citizens do not surrender in the face of pressure from the United States.
In a post on the social network X, Araghchi accused Washington of choosing the path of military escalation whenever the opportunity for a diplomatic solution arises.
"Every time a diplomatic solution is put on the table, the United States embarks on a reckless military adventure. Is it simply a blind tactic to exert pressure? Or is it the trick of a saboteur who wants to drag the American president into a new quagmire once again? Whatever the reason, the result is always the same: the Iranians never bow to pressure, but it is always diplomacy that loses," Araghchi wrote.
The Iranian top diplomat also rejected several claims that, according to him, are attributed to the CIA regarding Iran's military capabilities, stating that the American agency is "wrong."
"Our missile reserves and launcher capacity are not at 75 percent of what they were on February 28; the correct figure is 120 percent. And our readiness to protect our people: 1,000 percent!" he concluded.
