British government strongly criticizes Musk: The main instigator of
Keir Starmer and Elon Musk

The British government has directed strong criticism at billionaire Elon Musk, accusing him of contributing to the rising tensions that preceded the recent riots in Belfast through posts on the social network X.

The reaction follows violent incidents that swept through the Northern Ireland capital, where homes, cars and a bus were set on fire on Tuesday evening. The events erupted after a knife attack, for which authorities have charged a 30-year-old man from Sudan with attempted murder. He is expected to appear in court on Wednesday.

Shortly before the riots, Musk posted a message on his platform that read: “ Only by protesting LOUDLY and LOUDLY will any change happen!!”. He also reposted a post by far-right activist Tommy Robinson, which listed dozens of possible protest locations.

The X owner's statements have prompted a sharp reaction from the Labour Party. The party's leader, Anna Turley, condemned Musk's stance, arguing that he does not face the direct consequences of the tensions that are building in Northern Ireland.

"It's terrible. Anyone who seeks to incite and exploit a situation like this to push their own political agenda is very wrong and is causing damage," she told LBC radio.

This is not the first time Musk has clashed with the British government. Just last week, Prime Minister Keir Starmer accused him of trying to "sow division" following the controversy surrounding the death of 18-year-old Henry Nowak.

The teenager died after a stabbing and was reportedly arrested in a critical condition after being wrongly accused of a racist attack. The case has sparked a public outcry and fueled political debate in the United Kingdom.
