Greek farmers continue their protests again, causing occasional blockages of main road axes.
The Kakavija Border Police has announced that the Kakavija-Ioannina road will be blocked for several hours today as well.
According to the official announcement, from 18:00 to 21:00 (Greek time), the circulation of vehicles on this axis, specifically at the intersection of the village of Kallpaq, will be impossible due to the farmers' protest. During this time interval, only vehicles with health emergencies will be allowed to pass.
"The Kakavija Border Police, through the Kakavija Joint Information Exchange Center, has been notified by the Greek Border Police that today, from 18:00 to 21:00 (Greek time), the Kakavija-Ioannina road axis, at the intersection of the village of Kallpaq, will be blocked due to the protest that farmers will hold.
"Only vehicles that have health emergencies will be allowed to circulate. The Kakavija Border Police asks for the understanding of citizens and suggests planning vehicle trips at other times of the day ," the police statement said.
