A call center operator has revealed details about how the Call Center scheme, one of the most profitable "businesses" in Albania today, operated, with numerous operations by SPAK aimed at uncovering them and their schemes to defraud citizens, often Europeans.
He has discovered that operators are usually incentivized by daily bonuses that go up to 500 euros in cash if a certain deposit limit is reached.
"I started this job in 2014 working in call centers at the time, which were telephone and gas stations. Next door, a call center for stock market investments was opened, which was something new for us and where the payments were staggering. At that time, the operator received somewhere around 600 thousand lek per month, 700 maximum.
In the video distributed by the police, it can be seen that there are euros on a table on the supervisor's table. He simulates a daily bonus. The bonuses are daily, monthly, or weekly based on the scheme set up by the company. If I make a deposit of, for example, 10 thousand euros from different clients, I receive 500 euros in cash," he said on the "Oponencje" show on News24.
