Isa Aliu, long denounced by Pamfleti as the character who invested millions of dollars in drugs in construction and tourism, turns out to be at the center of the money laundering scheme uncovered by SPAK.
What had been publicly denounced for months by "Pamphlet" for dubious investments in tourist resorts, luxury villas and construction projects with staggering values, is now part of one of SPAK's largest files on international cocaine trafficking and money laundering.
The Special Prosecution Office announced that it has cracked down on a criminal group that is suspected of trafficking at least 50 tons of cocaine from Latin America to European Union countries during 2019-2021. At the center of the money laundering scheme is the name of Isa Ali , who played a key role in channeling and integrating drug profits into the Albanian economy.
According to investigations, a significant portion of the money gained from cocaine trafficking was brought to Albania in cash, bypassing the banking system. It was then invested in real estate, construction companies, hotels, consulting, and other commercial activities.
Investigations have revealed that during May-June 2021, Isa Aliu directed the transfer of funds to the accounts of the company “ Aliu Road House ”, in order to justify future investments. According to SPAK, the company was initially used as a subcontractor in housing construction to create legal cover for large cash flows and expansion in the construction sector.
The prosecution describes a complex money laundering mechanism, where through fictitious purchases of company shares at prices much lower than their real value, the group managed to take control of commercial companies at minimal cost. The funds were circulated through loans between individuals and related companies, creating an artificial economic history and losing track of the criminal origin of the money.
The file also mentions Dritan Gjika, Denis Matoshi (Eldi Dizdari), Nikoll Bibaj, Sokol Bibaj, Florjan Musaj, Armando Pacani, Naldi Yzeiraj, Oklid Aliu and Shpëtim Aliu , for whom the GJKKO has imposed security measures of "prison arrest".
"Pamfleti" was the first to denounce that, even though it had a capital of 1 thousand euros, Isa Ali's company from Elbasan, under the nose of the Prosecution, Economic Crime and the Directorate for the Prevention of Money Laundering, has invested tens of millions of euros of dirty money in a villa and resort complex in Lalzi Bay, a luxury yacht port, a residence in Hamallaj, palaces in Selitë, etc., i.e. hundreds of thousands of m² of construction.
Today SPAK has seized the company " Aliu Road House " and many other investments, confirming what Pamflet said but also providing strong evidence that SPAK is now entering the construction system and is expected to have a sensational blow.
According to SPAK, four companies are in the possession of Isa Aliu Aliu Road House with headquarters in several cities, Green Invest in Tirana and Fier (50% of the quotas), Seaview Development with headquarters in Hamallaj and ARH Security in Tirana and Elbasan. All four have been seized.
Also, part of the multifunctional tourist residential and commercial complex (Porto Lalzi / Lalzi Marina Seaside) in Hamallaj, Lalzi Bay, has been seized, according to the agreement between the company Sviluppo Mare 1 and the company Aliu Road House; as well as all real rights to the real estate acquired by the entities Seaview Development, and Aliu Road House through the notarial deed of completion of works for the construction of the 5-star Zig-zag hotel with over 200 rooms, in Jalë Himara, for which the company Narvalno Group, shpk has undertaken co-financing of 40 percent and the issuance of the construction permit by the AZHT. / Pamphlet
