According to data from the National Civil Emergency Operations Center (QKOEC) at AKMC, a total of 26 fires have been identified in the last 24 hours, of which:
• 21 fires have been extinguished
• 4 fires are still active
• 1 fire is under monitoring
Isolated and extinguished fires
The fires have been completely isolated and extinguished in:
Havalehas (Kuçovë), Krutje (Lushnjë), Rubjek (Shijak), Neighborhood No. 10 (Korçë), Drobonik (Berat), Kotë (Selenica), Kameras (Durrës), Martalloz (Memaliaj), Stadium and oil wells (Kuçovë), Fushë Milot (Kurbin), "Gjëmbi" (Selenica), Lanabreges (Tirana), Bogovë (Skrapar), Durisht (Tirana), Barbullush (Vau Dejës), Bogiç-Palvar (Malësi e Madhe), Katundi i Ri (Durrës), Mjull Bathore (Tirana), Hamallaj (Durrës), Germenj Nature Park (Kolonje), as well as between the villages of Nivicë, Salari and Dhëmblan (Tepelena).
Active hearth
Currently, 4 fires continue to be active:
• In the village of Pezë Helmës, Tirana municipality, where several isolated fires are present and are being monitored by firefighters.
• In the village of Fage, Tirana municipality, where the fire is active and being monitored by firefighters, municipal forces and volunteers.
• In the village of Miras, Devoll municipality, where smoke is present in several areas and around 100 forces are engaged in extinguishing the flames.
• In the Boje neighborhood, Krujë municipality, where two fires are involving pine forest areas in a protected area.
Meanwhile, the fire in the village of Delisuf, Vlora municipality, is under monitoring, while the situation is calm and smoke-free.
Civil Protection Structures and the Armed Forces continue their work on the ground in cooperation with local authorities.
