Tributes in honor of the famous actor Naun Shundin will be held today. It is learned that the tribute ceremony will be held at "ArtTurbina" from 10:30-12:00.
The actor passed away yesterday at the age of 66.
Shundi had been suffering from a serious illness for a long time. The artist was sent for specialized treatment to a hospital in France, but the high financial costs forced his family to seek help. He then returned to Albania, where he continued his medical treatment at the QSUT, the costs of which were covered by the Ministry of Health.
Naun Shundi is one of the most respected figures on the Albanian stage, with numerous contributions to theater and dramaturgy, as well as the founder of a unique cultural space through his theater.
Naun Shundi was a director, playwright, and actor of more than 100 roles in theater and 20 in film, while he spent more than 46 years at the National Theater.
