For the 40th day in a row, hundreds of citizens have gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office demanding the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the removal of the political caste. But as the protest continued with calls and speeches against the government, Rama left the Prime Minister's Office building, walking with his escort past the protesters.
The Prime Minister's passage near the rally was accompanied by the continuation of the protest, where citizens repeated the calls that have dominated the movement for 40 days, including "Rama resign", "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison" and "Albania seeks revolution".
This Thursday too, protesters initially gathered at Skanderbeg Square, then marched towards the Prime Minister's Office, where speeches were delivered against the government and Edi Rama's removal from leading the country was once again demanded.
The protest, which has entered its 40th day, continues to take place every evening on the "Martyrs of the Nation" boulevard, while the organizers have declared that the rallies will not stop until the prime minister resigns and their demands are met.
