The protest against the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama has entered its 40th day, while citizens gathered in front of the Prime Minister's Office have reconfirmed demands that, according to the organizers, remain non-negotiable.
During the rally, protest representatives read out the revolt platform again, which, according to them, was drafted based on proposals received from citizens over the past few weeks.
At the top of the list of demands is the non-negotiable resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the entire government cabinet.
The protesters also demand the creation of a transitional, non-partisan technical government with a 12-month mandate, which they say will create the conditions for reforms and the holding of elections.
Protesters' demands:

-Creation of a transitional, non-partisan technical government, with a clear 12-month mandate.
- Drafting a new Constitution, which guarantees the full equality of citizens before the law and its approval by popular referendum, including: Amending the Electoral Code;
Amending the law on the financing of political parties and organizations;
-Limiting the Prime Minister's term to no more than two terms (full or partial) during his or her entire political life.
-Maintaining the initial economic and environmental requirements, specifically: Annulment of the changes to the law on "Protected Areas";
Cancellation of amendments to the law on "Cultural Heritage";
-Repeal of the "Mountains Package";
-Abolition of the status and legal framework for "Strategic Investments".
Drafting a new social contract between citizens and the state, through consultations with intellectuals, technical experts, and nonpartisan citizens proposed by the protest itself.
