The demands of the ninth-day protest include the creation of a Ministry of Diaspora and the investigation of major issues of the Albanian transition such as Gërdeci and January 21.
One of the strongest messages articulated during the protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office was the call for the creation of a caretaker government and the rejection of the entire traditional political class. From the podium, one of the protesters demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, but at the same time called on the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, to step down from leading the opposition.
He also demanded that SPAK independently investigate some of the most debated events and files of the Albanian transition, including Gërdec and January 21. According to him, the protest should go beyond opposing the current government and demand accountability for all political actors who have governed the country over the years.

This (caretaker) government should implement Article 8 of the Albanian constitution, protect the rights of Albanians, establish the Ministry of Diaspora, create a card for Albanians wherever they are.
