The head of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, said in a statement to the media that yesterday the entire DP and its structures joined the civic protest.
Asked by reporters: "Did you see more than 2,000 protesters yesterday?", Balla responded by saying that there were more than that yesterday, but he did not count them.
"Yes, there were more than 2,000 yesterday. I didn't count them. Yesterday was a national protest, not a local protest. Undoubtedly, yesterday the entire DP was also in protest, from the DP protest champion Sali Lusha to half of the DP parliamentary group, all the heads of the DP section groups, so it doesn't impress me that the protest started as a local protest for flamingos, and meanwhile the owls have started to feel like flamingos," said the head of the SP parliamentary group.
Balla also responded to the accusations of MP Agron Shehaj, calling the latter a thief and a fine-paying person.
"I didn't even consider it. I repeat, you are a thief. You stole the DP's membership list, a noisemaker who goes and takes a selfie at the protest. The protest has nothing to do with you, because the protest was born as a reaction to a project. You are used to every project that is done in Albania, you go at night and tell the investor, sponsor me so I don't mention your name.
"You tell the television stations how much money you want to get me on prime time. You are a thief, you are a fine-bearer. And you are a person convicted of theft of personal data, you are under investigation for other personal thefts. Return to the DP the list of personal data you have stolen from them," said Balla.
