Following the fire that broke out in the "Arlis" complex building in Tirana, the General Inspectorate has launched verifications to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
Chief Inspector Dashnor Sula announced that a special working group has been established, which will analyze in detail the situation and the factors that may have influenced the spread of the fire.
According to the official announcement, the working group will focus on controlling the economic activities carried out in the premises of the complex, to verify whether they have been in compliance with technical and legal conditions.
Another important element of the investigation will be the functioning of the building's security systems. Specifically, it will be checked whether fire alarms, extinguishing equipment, signage and emergency exits were functional and maintained.
In its statement, the General Inspectorate emphasizes that it is closely following the situation and will cooperate closely with the responsible institutions for the full clarification of the incident.
It is also announced that all measures provided for by applicable legislation will be taken if violations or liability related to this event are found.
" Regarding the fire incident in a residential complex in the capital, the General Inspectorate is closely following the situation and by order of the Inspector General Mr. Dashnor Sula, a working group has been established to fully verify the circumstances of the incident.
The working group will check whether the economic activities in the complex's premises have been in compliance with technical and legal conditions, as well as whether the security systems (alarms, extinguishing equipment, signage and emergency exits) have been functional and maintained.
"The General Inspectorate will closely cooperate with the responsible institutions and will undertake all measures provided for by the relevant laws ," the statement said.
