A serious incident occurred in the village of Sheqeras in the Maliq municipality, where a 55-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment.
According to preliminary data, it is reported that the victim, identified as Lavdie Daci , had been suspected of having died for several days. The body was discovered by her daughter, who immediately notified the police.
It is reported that the 55-year-old lived with her son, but the latter had left for Greece about a week ago for seasonal work. Her other children live in Tirana and Greece.
After the notification, police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene, and began actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident.
Authorities are working to determine the cause of death, while forensic expertise is also awaited, which will shed more light on the case.
