As a result of the conflict, 60-year-old Rrapush Memolla was seriously injured and, despite the assistance provided, lost his life.
A serious criminal incident was recorded yesterday evening in Rrogozhina, where a conflict between two neighbors ended with the loss of life of a 60-year-old man.
According to information from the Police, the incident occurred at around 9:50 PM in the "Mollaj" neighborhood, where it is suspected that during a momentary conflict for weak motives between citizens MM, about 25 years old, and Rr. M., about 60 years old, cutting tools were used.
As a result of the conflict, 60-year-old Rrapush Memolla was seriously injured and, despite the assistance provided, died. Meanwhile, the suspected perpetrator, Meklan Meçe, suffered a minor injury to his hand.
Police services immediately arrived at the scene and, thanks to the rapid operational response, made it possible to identify, capture and arrest the 25-year-old man, who is suspected of fatally stabbing his neighbor.
The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its actions to fully clarify the circumstances of the event and its legal documentation.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the causes and full dynamics of the conflict that ended tragically.
"The immediate response of the Police services made it possible to identify, capture and arrest the 25-year-old, who is suspected of having, during a momentary conflict where cutting tools were used, injured a 60-year-old man, who later lost his life.
At around 21:50, in the “Mollaj” neighborhood, Rrogozhina, it is suspected that during a momentary conflict for weak motives between citizens MM, about 25 years old, and Rr. M., about 60 years old, neighbors with each other, where cutting tools were used, citizen Rr. M. was seriously injured and later lost his life, while citizen MM was slightly injured in the hand.
The Police Services, immediately after receiving the notification, went to the scene and, as a result of rapid operational actions, identified, captured and arrested the suspected perpetrator, citizen MM.
"The investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, continues to work to fully clarify the circumstances and legally document the event," the police announced.
