Footage has been released of the robbery of a gas station in the Krasta area of Kruja, an event that occurred 4 days ago, where the perpetrators managed to take around 20 thousand new lek.
The video shows the moment when a masked and armed person, identified by police as Marvin Ferra, enters the gas station premises and points a gun at the gas station employee. The perpetrator initially forces the employee to leave the premises, while another masked person takes the money and puts it in a bag.
Police announced that they arrested Marvin Ferran today. According to authorities, he disobeyed a stop order and attempted to flee in a Benz vehicle, in which he was traveling with a minor.
While attempting to flee, the vehicle was involved in a collision, and the suspect abandoned the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot. He was apprehended by officers a few meters away.
Police sources indicate that during interrogation, Ferra admitted to the robbery and revealed the location of several hidden weapons. Following the searches, the police seized a Kalashnikov assault rifle and a rifle.
Investigations to identify and capture the second person involved in the incident continue.
