Analyst Roland Bejko, invited to the "News Line" show, commented on recent political developments, focusing on Sali Berisha's strategic moves.
According to him, the former Prime Minister is using the legal space to create as many parliamentary groups as possible that will represent him in the Assembly, an action he describes as pragmatic and well-thought-out.
Bejko says that this "artificial majority" in Parliament will be used by Berisha as an instrument in confronting justice, aiming to block parliamentary work. At the same time, the analyst emphasizes that Prime Minister Rama, having an absolute majority, has the luxury of undertaking radical policies during his fourth mandate.
"Berisha has made a pragmatic move, in the spaces created by the law, because Berisha needs to be represented in Parliament with as many voices as possible. On the one hand, it is a smart move by Berisha because there will be more parliamentary groups that will be represented by him. Berisha will benefit from the plurality of groups, in his confrontations with justice. He wants to maximize, in an optical vision, the number he has. Berisha is an old player.
He has a long strategy, he has war in his DNA. Berisha will try to remove the parliament from its function, to block the work, the committees and many others. The parliament is not going to be a serious institution. Berisha wants to fix the relationship with history. Rama has the luxury of having an absolute majority, to succeed in the fourth mandate he must do radical politics. Rama has created vote engineering", said analyst Bejko.
