The National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT) Central has undertaken a large-scale operation this morning in the Drimadha area. The target of the operation was an illegal construction site erected by Helidon Gjikoka, known by residents as one of the names of the criminal world in the south of the country.
The operation was accompanied by the presence of numerous forces of the State Police, of the Vlora DVP, which surrounded the perimeter to guarantee security and the smooth running of the action.
Police sources indicate that the intervention is part of the government's action against illegal construction in coastal areas, and the illegal building is expected to be demolished today.
