Prosecutor Elvin Gokaj, one of the candidates for the leadership of SPAK, stated that the main principle of his leadership will be integrity and full support of prosecutors.
He said that his over 10 years of experience in leading prosecutors' offices in several districts of the country has taught him the importance of teamwork and professional independence within the system. He also spoke about his strengths and weaknesses.
"My strengths are work, integrity and gratitude towards the people who work and sweat for this country. The weak point is the computer programs that have advanced, but with the help of experts we will get through this phase," said Gokaj.
He assessed that Arben Kraja and Altin Dumani have never interfered in prosecutors' matters. He said that he will follow this line himself if elected.
"They have never intervened in any issue. We have had no influence from previous leaders on specific issues. For this reason, I think that will be my line that I will stick to," said Gokaj.
According to him, the most important thing in a leader's job is teamwork.
"The best work practices of a leader are teamwork. Today, despite the fact that SPAK has 20 prosecutors, in my opinion there are 20 leaders there because the law and the constitution have regulated it. The leader can only rely on the support of the prosecutors," he said.
One of the weak points he sees in himself, he said, is the computer programs that have advanced. He said that with the help of experts, this phase will also be passed in SPAK.
