Vlora continues to produce attention-grabbing episodes, this time not from the beaches, but from the City Council hall.
A video published on social media has brought to attention an unusual moment during the meeting where changes to the Vlora Municipality budget were being discussed and voted on.
In the footage, a voice is heard, which according to the person who published the video belongs to the secretary of the Municipal Council, Leonela Dautaj, addressing councilor Liljana Breshani with the words: "Please, pass it (vote in favor), make it happen for me."
However, the plea did not seem to have the desired result. According to sources, the budget amendments needed 26 votes to be approved, but received only 25, causing the draft resolution to be defeated.
