Journalist Eni Ferhati commented on the official visit of SPAK leader Altin Dumani to the US Department of State.
According to Ferhat, the head of SPAK is the first Albanian official to visit the State Department after the new Trump administration came to power, a visit that he considers a sign of support and appreciation for the work of the institution and Dumani himself.
" The published agenda of several State Department officials includes the presence of Mr. Dumani, who is not the first time visiting the US administration. I see this as a continuation of American support for SPAK and especially for Mr. Dumani. This meeting carries a clear message about the position that SPAK has today and for Mr. Dumani himself. We agreed that Altin Dumani was an American "investment" and the influence of former Ambassador Kim should not be forgotten. This is a clear message in the context of recent developments, especially when we had interruptions in funds and assistance for the Special Prosecution Office, which were suspended for several weeks. But immediately after the procedures in the US, the situation returned to the starting point, with American staff consulting and logistically supporting SPAK, " said journalist Ferhati on NOW with Erla Mehilli.
Ferhati said that this visit means an appreciation for Dumani and for the work of SPAK during these three years. According to him, with the new political developments we can see a new trajectory for SPAK, but that will be seen step by step.
