The Council of Ministers has decided to reward all employees who were involved in fighting fires this summer with 1 to 3 salaries.

Part of this category are members of the Armed Forces, State Police, Civil Defense and fire services.

The payment for them, 1 to 3 months, will be determined depending on the duration of their engagement in firefighting operations during the summer of 2025.

We recall that on August 27, Prime Minister Edi Rama honored 24 firefighters, soldiers, and police officers for their battle with fires across the country.
