Protesters marched again towards the Prime Minister's Office with ironic banners and calls against Edi Rama, Sali Berisha and the entire political class.
As in previous protests, citizens held banners with strong and ironic messages, which became one of the most prominent elements of the rally.
One of the most commented banners featured photos of Prime Minister Edi Rama and DP leader Sali Berisha with the message: "Rama in prison, Berisha in prison, Tomorrow even more."
Another banner carried the slogan: "46 days. It's no longer a protest. It's resistance," while another read: "46 days. The people don't give up. Even more tomorrow!".
Other messages displayed by the protesters included: "When injustice becomes law, resistance becomes duty," as well as a banner with the inscription "NO - The people do not surrender!", which listed a series of objections to corruption, arrogance, irresponsibility, propaganda, poverty, selective justice of the "party state" and the "captured state."
There was no shortage of satirical banners. One of them mocked Prime Minister Edi Rama by depicting him as a rooster, with the inscription in English : "New Rooster Species Found in Albania...", while the sideboard read: "There is no bread, there is plenty of spectacle."
During the march through the streets of Tirana, protesters also repeated the calls that have accompanied the civic movement since its beginning, such as "Rama go!", "Berisha go!", "Everyone go!", "Down with the political caste!", "We love Albania like all of Europe!" and "The government and politics have turned into a harem!".
Organizers have announced that the protests will continue in the coming days, insisting that they will continue mobilizing until their demands are met.
