The Joint Panels of the Supreme Court, in a meeting after many years, today reviewed the change in judicial practice for imposing the measure of arrest in prison.

Hoxha said that from the Deputy Prosecutor General's submissions today at the High Court, it was understood that in principle the Prosecution agrees to a review of the 2011 decision, but the "fear" is how applicable alternative measures are in Albania.

What was understood by the Deputy Prosecutor General was that the Prosecution also agrees to have a review of the 2011 decision.
However, he added some conditions, we must take into account who guarantees alternative measures, not detention. This is a submission that will embarrass Albanian institutions. The state also guarantees the circumstances for other measures. He recalled the high public interest, along with the guarantees that the constitution offers with the rights of the citizen , "said Hoxha.
