4 million euros for Kanye West's concert, Kulluri: Personal adventure, Rama

Analyst Edvin Kulluri has criticized the government regarding the organization of the Kanye West concert. He stated that the promotion of the event by Prime Minister Edi Rama will not have an impact on tourism.

According to Kullur, the fact that the government is expected to finance the concert with millions of euros shows that its organization has encountered difficulties.

"Today we have somewhere around 10 million tourists, the impact that the concert has on tourism is not as great as the prime minister says. 4 million euros are not being used for advertising to take tourism from 10 million to 11 million. Rama has remained the same mayor, municipal director, dealing with facades and red plums ," he said.

The analyst added that the government lacks a vision for the administration of public affairs.

"There is no concept of public affairs management, it has turned them into a joke. Behind the facade there are difficult realities that people have brought to the streets. This is a challenge that Rama is making to those people who are in the streets," he told "News 24".

Kulluri also recalled the case of the Scorpions concert, comparing it to the current situation.

"These are personal adventures, one case when Gonxha and Rama were taken to the Prosecutor's Office was the 'Scorpions' concert after the ticket scandal," he added.

The analyst continued with criticism of the country's development model and public investments.

"Our development model is organized crime, we cannot cover the problems with a concert. We still have the helicopters from 2013, we have not increased the capacities. There is no water in the construction sites in Palasa and Dhërmi," continued Kulluri.

Kulluri also stated that the organization of the concert did not go according to the initial plan.

"It wasn't set out to be organized with government money, but it seems to have failed. Even a Tallava singer would have gathered more people,"  he concluded.
