Xherdan Shaqiri returns to where it all started, the Albanian is about to end his career at Basel

After ending his MLS adventure with Chicago Fire, Xherdan Shaqiri has chosen to return to where it all started, Basel.

The Albanian footballer who has represented Switzerland returned to his "home", from which he left when he was only 20 years old for Bayern Munich.

His career then had ups and downs, going to Inter, Stoke City, Liverpool and finally to the USA.

The 32-year-old born in Gjilan comes to Basel as a free player, as he will try to help the Swiss team achieve the objectives set for this season.
