Udine is "armored" with police forces for the European Super Cup

Udine will be an isolated city for the European Super Cup, which will be played on Wednesday evening at 9:00 PM at the Stadio Friuli between PSG and Tottenham.

The match has been classified as extremely high risk by Italian and international authorities, and for this reason, police chief Pasquale Antonio De Lorenzo has ensured the availability of around 1,000 officers from the Interior Ministry, including at least 600 from outside the region, who are expected to arrive.

The specialists needed to ensure maximum security will include bomb disposal experts, riot control personnel, and helicopters equipped with video systems and night vision goggles.

UEFA has announced that it has sold 6,600 tickets to French supporters and 4,700 to English supporters. The rest are expected to be neutral: the capacity for the match in question is approximately 23,000.

The culmination of the fan isolation measures will be the so-called "Fans' March" of around 900 Parisian ultras, who will arrive on the morning of the match, on August 13.

They will approach the stadium from the designated fan area at 6:30 p.m. The fan cordon will be accompanied by a contingent of police, carabinieri and financial police officers.
