Burnley manager Scott Parker has no intention of rushing Armando Broja into action. Given the player's injury woes, he has made it clear that the club, which recently acquired him from Chelsea, have no intention of putting the player on the field at a time when he is not in top form or without receiving the necessary training loads.
" He looks good. He trained for the first time yesterday and it was just a light workout. Today he trained a little bit on his own, " Parker told the Burnley Express after Burnley's friendly against Lazio.
" However, he looks in good physical shape, he looks good. He probably needs a little work now to get back into the right rhythm, because as I said, he hasn't trained much during the pre-season. We don't want to put him in a position where he's vulnerable or risks anything here ," said the coach, explaining that to see Brojë in action on the pitch would have to wait until the striker was in top form.
