A serious incident occurred yesterday evening before the first leg of the Champions League quarter-final between Atletico Madrid and Barcelona at the Camp Nou stadium. The Madrid team bus was pelted with stones upon arrival, causing two windows to break.

The event, described as unacceptable, brings to mind similar episodes that have occurred before, including the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final, where such incidents were also reported.

Atletico Madrid coach Diego Pablo Simeone reacted after the incident, stressing that this is not an isolated situation.

" The club is the same, we can't change it. It's not a one-off, this happens to us often every time we come to Barcelona ," he declared.

On the other hand, the Madrid club itself expressed its dissatisfaction through an ironic reaction on social media, symbolically addressing NASA.

" Tonight, we also saw the dark side of the moon ," Atletico Madrid wrote in its post.
